WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR ANALYSIS?

Personality Profile
Ideally, one A4 page full of writing could suffice, but themore material offered, the more accurate the analysis.

Questioned or Forged Handwriting or Signature
A copy of the questioned document.
This could be a just a signature or a paper containing the questioned handwriting. Originals are preferred but often a good copy will do. Even if you have a poor copy, analysis may be still possible.

Handwriting or signatures for comparison.
You will obviously have something with which to compare the questioned writing or signature. In the case of forged signatures you need a specimen (confirmed) signature to compare to the questioned signature. It would be helpful if you could supply as many confirmed genuine signatures as possible to compare with the alleged forgery. These genuine / specimen signatures need ideally to have been made for purposes other than that of analysis.

If you wish for an opinion as to whether a named individual is responsible for the forgery, it is necessary to have a specimen of their usual signature/handwriting as well.

For a handwriting comparison, you may wish to discover whether a named person is responsible for writing part of or a whole document. You may also wish to identify an author from a group of writers. In all cases it is helpful to have as much text as possible for comparison.

The samples should not have been written for the purpose of analysis as this detracts from the persons natural style. Remember, if the questioned document is in lower case it is not helpful if the writing supplied for comparison is all in capitals.

(The best samples are obtained from unlined paper).

It is not possible to tell the gender or age of a person from their handwriting.

TYPES OF REPORT GIVEN

You may request either a written or verbal opinion. A verbal opinion is suitable if you just need an opinion over the phone. If you need information to defend your case or to present some sort of evidence then you will need a written opinion. A written opinion is in the form of an expert witness report so it may be used to help the police or in a court of law if necessary. At your request I can change a verbal opinion into a written opinion upon payment of the appropriate fee.

WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE?

1) Send your questioned or forged documents or signatures with the documents or specimens for comparison.

2) Also send an accompanying letter with your instructions/requirements clearly indicating the questioned and genuine documents or signatures.

3) Payment can be made by Paypal (on application the link will be sent to you) or by cheque to JANE NASH

4) I strongly recommend that you send your mail recorded delivery/registered post, (contact me for address).

5) Your report will then be posted back to you with your documents recorded delivery/registered post, normally within 7 working days.

6) In the case of a verbal report I will contact you by phone and post your documents back to you, in most cases within 7 working days.

7) When posting to you I always use recorded delivery/registered post.
